case study – langtree botanics
Overview
Langtree Botanics came to me at a time when a lot of businesses do – when they want to grow their business.
The co-founder Laura had taken some time out of her full time job, and wanted to grow the business enough that she didn’t have to return.
Langtree already had a good following of customers at markets and online so we just needed to build on that.
The business also already had a strong visual identity, but the strategy and foundations were missing. This is by no means uncommon in businesses built on a strong passion as we just want them to be up and running!
Solution
We held a long intial strategy session to really get to know the founders and the business and where they wanted to take the business.
From that initial session I developed the strategy for Langtree Botanics – how it sounds, how it feels, who it’s for and it’s impact. I also needed to make sure the visual identity still worked with what I had created.
From this I then developed a full 6 month marketing plan for us to work through together.
We also implemented some new product lines and offers to increase revenue and awareness.
Outcome
Langtree Botanics now have a clear action plan to work to which takes a lot of overwhelm off the shoulders of Laura – she also knows I am on the end of whatsapp whenever she needs me.
Because the business is deeply rooted in nature, it was important to make that front and centre, so we added online seasonal ritual gatherings to create a sense of community and also to showcase the products being used.
The marketing plan is flexible enough if needed and ridged enough to create accountability, which is what Laura asked for.
Laura now feels supported and not like she’s doing this alone anymore.
