Isle of Wight netwalking

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”  Albert Einstein

If you’re based on the Isle of Wight then why not join us Netwalking – a networking event with a difference. No stuffy rooms and 60 second pitches, we get our walking gear on and meet each other in the rain, wind, mud and sometimes even sunshine!

The benefits of walking in nature

  • Improved mood
  • Reduced stress
  • Improved self esteem
  • Sense of accomplishment
  • Reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety
  • Increased energy
  • Improved memory
  • Improved sleep
  • Overall increased wellbeing

The benefits of connecting with others

  • Improved physical health
  • Improved mental health
  • Increased self worth
  • Develops a sense of belonging
  • Increased trust
  • Increased feeelings of safety
  • Increased empathy for others
  • Improved societal wellbeing
  • Builds a connected society

On the second Friday of every month (apart from school holidays) we meet at a different location around the Island to walk, network and make new connections*.

The walks are between 3 and 5 miles long but usually are around 3.5 and are generally suitable for all levels of walkers (although please remember this is the Isle of Wight where you can’t go more than 1 mile without encountering a hill!).

The walks are free but I do ask that if you are able to, you make a donation, via the booking page, to my two charities – Hillside Animal Sanctuary in the UK and Sanctuary Ugolyok in Ukraine.

For details on the next Netwalk please visit the booking link below.

*Please note, all walkers walk at their own risk and a liability waiver must be signed before the walk begins.

Sadly there won’t be a netwalk in July as I’ve sprained my ankle. We’ll be back in September after our summer break.
